We did, but it wasn't together. I had my usual 12 hour day and she had to work until 2AM. Canada day has never really worked out for us. One of these days we'll have to take the bike to someplace with really nice fireworks.
You both had to work?!? What a bummer. I was already off for the 4th of July, since my job was only for June, but Bill got the day off. In our city there is a fireworks ban, but you wouldn't know it by the haze in our neighborhood from all the fireworks, lol. We don't usually go to the big shows, as it's too crowded for something that doesn't last too long.
A ban on fireworks? Is that due to a fire hazard or something? Our crowds aren't that big, but then again neither is our fireworks show. This year it was 15 minutes late starting and lasted maybe 10 minutes...LOL.
