Something about the styling just didn't sit right with me. For that matter nothing about Arlen Ness styling ever really appealed to me either. But today, something ran across my G+ feed that really caught my eye.
This is the 2015 Victory Gunner and it's very much my style of bike. A low slung, low riding, mean looking street bike. A nice little Giesthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00870886260984784389noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28437513.post-11278758945240215512014-03-28T14:41:00.002-03:002014-03-28T18:32:41.616-03:00Yawn...

It's been a horrible summer for riding, just didn't have the time. Been having too much fun with the now 14 month old addition to our family. At least I can say I didn't sell my bike, which is more than I can say for the guys I rode with.
Maybe next summer will be better.

We had a baby and she is now just over 6 months old. I actually pulled her out of my buddies shed on March 22nd. We had temperatures of 25C+ which is damn well unheard of so I had to go for a ride. I didn't get as much as I wanted, but it was still great.
First full ride of the season.
The temperatures are more seasonal now and my ride to work this morning was a little cool at 5C. Still, no matterGiesthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00870886260984784389noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28437513.post-55454598489082760292012-03-01T11:20:00.001-04:002012-03-01T11:20:18.621-04:00Yawn! It hasn't been much of a winter around here. In fact I've only had a couple of times to really have a good time in the Jeep and most snow accumulation we've had has quickly been swept away by the high temps and floods of rain. Oddest winter yet. Regardless, my throttle hand is itchy and I want my two wheels back on that one road.

In truth, it is. I could conceivably get another month out of the season, possibly more, but I'd be really risking it. If we did happen to get a big snowfall that stuck around, I wouldn't have a way to get my bike to storage. Considering my storage area is now about 30 minutes away through back roads, riding there once the snow Giesthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00870886260984784389noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28437513.post-28969969815999467812011-11-23T16:08:00.001-04:002011-11-23T16:57:37.589-04:00Still going...Giesthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00870886260984784389noreply@blogger.com2Wyndham Worldwide Canada Inc, 112 Prince Edward St, Saint John45.277416 -66.05429tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28437513.post-82638934554275440702011-11-23T12:53:00.001-04:002011-11-23T16:57:07.497-04:00More still...Giesthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00870886260984784389noreply@blogger.com0St John, St John45.273315 -66.06331tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28437513.post-18533475013328878052011-11-23T07:50:00.001-04:002011-11-23T16:56:18.106-04:00And so it starts...Giesthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00870886260984784389noreply@blogger.com0St John, St John45.273315 -66.06331tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28437513.post-88500307684790658322011-11-22T15:02:00.001-04:002011-11-22T15:12:56.139-04:00Last RunI had a really good last run with a couple of guys a couple of weekends ago. Put on just over 300 kms of straight riding. I'd never been riding with them before and didn't know what to expect. We rode from Saint John to Sussex for a stop and then it was non-stop to Moncton. A few stops in Moncton at some shops and then a quick stop for gas. After that, it was a straight out run all the way back Giesthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00870886260984784389noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28437513.post-29643440971620244232011-11-09T15:12:00.000-04:002011-11-09T15:12:19.884-04:00November RidingWell, the first snowfall was October 30th. Couldn't have been happier to have the Jeep when we visited my parents that weekend. It didn't stick around long considering the whole day was snow or rain or both. Fun driving through it all with the Jeep though. Winter is going more fun this year then it ever has been.
Right now we are having some very unseasonal November weather that's keeping Giesthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00870886260984784389noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28437513.post-12819174315822508742011-09-27T00:09:00.001-03:002011-09-27T12:39:28.083-03:00Nice to see
Being able to ride home with just my hoodie at the end of September is real nice. Easily over 20 C at 9pm.

My riding buddies have drifted for one reason or another away and I dropped the riding club that I was part of. It wasn’t fun anymore, it wasn’t about riding anymore, it was about politics and that’s not why I ride a bike. I ride to get away from that shit and it was starting to feel like it was following me everywhere I went. So I dropped it, stepped Giesthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00870886260984784389noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28437513.post-56901302531258931892011-09-01T12:36:00.001-03:002011-09-01T12:40:29.962-03:00Oh shit…Well now, it's been a while and here we are in September. I've thought about posting, but I don't like using this space as a woe is me area. I’d rather just hide away for a while and deal with things on my own. Suffice to say a lot has been going on and not all of it was good. This summer has been absolute crap and a lot of my biker buddies have run into problems or have found other things to doGiesthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00870886260984784389noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28437513.post-34826704408878689182011-03-15T18:09:00.001-03:002011-03-15T18:09:27.600-03:00Getting there Well, I think it’s about that time. I just have to pick up an oil filter so I can change the oil and I’ll have my rolling therapy machine on the road once more. I should be able to get that done this coming weekend and may very well be riding to work the next week. People are beginning to think I’m dead or have just simply vanished, but I have not. I’m just really really tired of all this snow and I would very much like for it to all go away. I hit up the annual bike show the weekend past and even that was a bore. Same stuff as last year. After one tour of the place I was ready to go home. Not only that, but I’m finding that Giesthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00870886260984784389noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28437513.post-36676295566109838422010-11-25T18:01:00.001-04:002010-11-25T18:01:33.990-04:00Stress ReliefIt’s been a depressing and maddening week due to weather and other problems, but one ride makes it all go away.  It doesn’t even matter that it’s a ride to work in –2C (28F) with 50kph (31mph) winds.  The coldest windiest day on bike is far better then the warmest day in car. There’s no snow sticking so I’m not giving up my riding season just yet and that fairing is just the thing to Giesthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00870886260984784389noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28437513.post-30301939155272888902010-11-11T10:40:00.001-04:002010-11-11T10:40:18.143-04:00Lest We ForgetGiesthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00870886260984784389noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28437513.post-67531037489929138582010-11-08T12:49:00.001-04:002010-11-09T19:14:56.823-04:00It’s Been Wet…and that’s an understatement. The rain started last Thursday evening and hasn’t stopped.  It’s been either misting or down pouring with strong winds every day since.  It doesn’t look like we’ll get relief until Wednesday and even that’s iffy. It’s been a crappy fall (I believe I’ve mentioned that), but there is some beauty around.
